You just might qualify for foreclosure assistance in Connecticut.

 Help for Struggling Connecticut Home OwnersCHFA (Connecticut Housing Finance Authority) has been given $33 million dollars from HUD to assist struggling home owners keep their homes. HUD has given money to 5 states for foreclosure assistance, CT being one of them.

If you are struggling to stay in your home, please contact CHFA to find out the details of how they might be able to assist you to keep your home. I would imagine the money will not last for a long time, it is listed as a first come, first serve program. Please make that call now, or visit the CHFA website about their Federal Emergency Home Loan Program. You can check out the program eligibility requirements there, as well as get other information on the program.
